ICLDF meeting in Quito, Ecuador

The picture shows our ICLDF work group during our meeting this week in Quito, Ecuador, in preparation for the International Congress of Lay Dominican Fraternities scheduled for Fatima, Portugal, from October 4 to October 10, 2018. The ICLDF group has been meeting at the Convento Maximo de Santo Domingo in Quito between 17 and 20 July. The group is composed of one representative from each Region and the Promoter General for the Dominican Laity, fr. Rui Carlos Antunes e Almeida Lopes , O.P.

Marquez of Latin America & the Caribbean (Coordinator-President);  Mr. Joseph Komadina of North America, and; Mr. Felix Foko Fovo of Africa and Mrs. Belen L. Tangco of Asia and the Pacific (Secretary General, 3rdInternational Congress 2018);
 
In addition to the Congress preparations, all Regional Representatives presented a report of the work of the Laity in their respective regions, including particular situations which were discussed and ways to resolve them were discussed.
